David Sebastian Bach: The Last of the Renaissance Men

Born, raised, and educated in Canada, David Sebastian Bach has dedicated almost his entire life to the entertainment business. The Toronto Globe and Mail once called Mr. Bach "the last of the Renaissance men".

Chapter One

An Early Start

David's career began at the age of five when he made his first record for the Melody Music Company of New York. After high school, he continued playing in bands and groups while pursuing a career as a Disc Jockey with various radio and television stations across Canada.

Chapter Two

A Global Career

At age 21, David moved to London, England, where he lived for many years. During this time, he toured Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, working as a singer, songwriter, record producer, actor, playwright, and director. David, who speaks and sings in several languages, also plays several musical instruments.

His international credits include:

  • Appearing in the sci-fi TV series, Space 1999, with Barbara Bain and Martin Landau.
  • Performing in the touring company of Little Shop of Horrors (as the voice of Audrey II).
  • Appearing in the rock musical, Rock Nativity.
  • Signing to Bull Dog Records in England and EMI Electrola in Germany, with hits including "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling," "Der Regen Feil Auf Santorin," and the album "200 Years On...".
  • Writing and recording the song, "WHAT CAN WE DO?," as a fundraiser for MDAC.
Chapter Three

Return to North America and Entrepreneurship

David returned to Canada in the early 1980s, completing four coast-to-coast concert tours of Canada and establishing the Bach Academy for the Performing Arts, an accredited performance school.

He later relocated to Scottsdale, Arizona, where he raised his family and established multiple companies:

  • MURDER INK PRODUCTIONS: An award-winning murder mystery dinner theatre company.
  • Blue Ox Talent Agency: A licensed and bonded agency and talent management company.
  • Blue Ox Records.
Chapter Four

Hollywood and Las Vegas

As a Screen Actors Guild member for more than 20 years, David appeared in feature films, commercials, and numerous theatre productions.

David relocated to Las Vegas 23 years ago, where he currently resides. In Las Vegas, he wrote and directed two theatrical productions, Sin City Confidential and Pageants Can Be Murder, both of which received 5-Star reviews.

He currently fronts his seven-piece jazz ensemble, EAR CANDY. The ensemble features Music Director Joe Darro (accompanist for Sammy Davis Jr., Debbie Reynolds, and many other well-known singers) and performs for private and corporate functions, appearing from time to time at local Jazz spots as a duo, trio, or quartet.

Chapter Five

Writing Contributions:

In addition to his stage and film work, David contributed his writing talents to the new album, Lucky Still, by fellow artist Barbara Reed. The album is available now through Blue Ox Records.

The Real Deal

Mr. Bach is the fifth-generation grandson of Johann Sebastian Bach. He has performed all over the world for heads of state, including Her Majesty The Queen.
